Como Executar
- 1Adjust the incline chest press machine to your desired angle, ensuring the seat height allows your hands to be at chest level when gripping the handles. Sit down and secure your back against the backrest.
- 2Grasp the handles with a medium-width grip, ensuring your elbows are positioned slightly below shoulder level. Your feet should be flat on the floor for stability.
- 3Begin with your arms extended, holding the handles straight out in front of you at shoulder height. This is your starting position.
- 4Inhale deeply as you slowly lower the handles towards your upper chest. Keep your elbows at a 45-degree angle relative to your torso, maintaining control throughout the descent.
- 5Once the handles lightly touch your upper chest, pause for a moment.
- 6Exhale as you push the handles back to the starting position, engaging your chest muscles. Lock your arms at the top and squeeze your chest for a second.
- 7Ensure the movement is controlled, taking at least twice as long to lower the handles (eccentric) as it does to press them up (concentric).
- 8Repeat for the prescribed number of repetitions, and when finished, carefully return the handles to the machine's resting position.
