Como Executar

  1. 1Setup: Load one end of an Olympic barbell with weight. Secure the other end by placing it in the corner of two walls or by using a heavy object to prevent it from sliding.
  2. 2Starting Position: Stand facing the barbell. Bend forward at the hips until your torso is nearly parallel to the ground, keeping your knees slightly bent. Grip the bar with one hand just behind the plates on the weighted side, and place your other hand on your knee for support.
  3. 3Engage Core: Before starting the movement, engage your core to stabilize your torso and maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise.
  4. 4Concentric Movement: Pull the barbell straight up towards your lower chest, keeping your elbow close to your body. Focus on squeezing your upper back muscles at the top of the movement. Exhale as you lift the weight.
  5. 5Pause: Hold the barbell at the top of the movement for a moment, ensuring maximum contraction of the back muscles.
  6. 6Eccentric Movement: Slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position, maintaining control. Inhale as you lower the weight. Avoid letting the plates touch the floor to ensure continuous tension on your muscles.
  7. 7Repetition: Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, focusing on maintaining proper form and control throughout each rep.
  8. 8Key Form Points: Keep your back straight and avoid swinging your torso; only your arm should move. Use smaller plates (25 lbs) for a better range of motion and to prevent the bar from touching the floor during the eccentric phase.
